East coast dive

If you're an advanced diver* and fancy a bit more of a challenge, opt for an east coast dive. On this side of the island there is more wave action, more current and more chance of spotting larger animals, such as nurse sharks, Caribbean reef sharks and even now and then a manta or hammerhead shark.
It's a lot more challenging than the relatively easy shore dives on the west coast of the island, but well worth the effort.
